PLANFAE CREEK

Serpentant au pied de l'imposante masse de la cime de Roccassièra, le ruisseau de Planfaé y a sculpté un magnifique petit canyon. Il offre un condensé des plaisirs du canyonisme. La première partie comporte plusieurs sauts et un rappel de 13 m. Puis le vallon s'évase. Plusieurs sauts sont encore possibles jusqu'au pont qui enjambe le cours d'eau et marque la fin du parcours. Ce canyon convient parfaitement à une sortie de découverte du canyonisme.

Il y a une navette en voiture. La marche d'approche demande une demi heure environ. La descente s'effectue en 2h à 2h30. Il n'y a pas de marche de sortie (parking près du pont).

Meandering at the foot of the stately Roccassiera summit, the Planfae stream has carved out a very cute little canyon. It contains everything canyoning has to offer. The first part contains many jumps and a 13m high abseil. Then the creek widens out. Several jumps are possible until the bridge which marks the end of the descent. This canyon is cut out for people who want to have an easy initiation to canyoning.

There is a car shuttle. The access walk is about 30 mn. The descent takes aout 2h to 2h30. There is no exit walk (the parking is near the bridge).
